The sky cleared and I was able to set up a little ritual under the partially-eclipsed moon on Thursday. I thought about driving out of town to see it better, but I didn’t want to park in some random spot on the side of the road, nor did I want to drive to the farm at that time of night.
So, I made a little altar in my backyard. Collected some moon water. Blessed my tiny jars of crystals. A coffee cup rescued from my grandparents’ home set out to welcome my ancestors. Fabric hand-woven in Italy beneath it all:
Wolves in candlelight.
Pen and journal.
Home that feels like home.
Books collected in sacred space.
Feet on ground.
Rose in the garden.
Twinkling lights.
Quiet in my heart.
Space in my mind.
Comfort in my soul.
Whispers to the moon.
The card pulled says it all. Simple cards, selected by the energy that pulls me. Changes that began just a few short years ago coming to fruition:
Freedom.
Acceptance of true love.
Understanding what I want and deserve.
Abundance.
Choosing joy.
Stepping into my power.
Whispers to the moon.
The harvest begins. It is time to celebrate.
Until next Sunday, may you recognize the bounty coming to you.
